The chalet

Description

The chalet has a surface of 60 square meters and can accommodate six people. If you enter the house and take a few steps up  the stairs, you will see the living room in front of you. The living room has a cozy sitting area, a dining table for six people and a spectacular view over the Valley of Abondance. Through the balcony door you enter the 15 m ² large balcony where you can sit nice and warm during summertime. Take a few more steps up the stairs and you will find two double rooms. The one with a double bed, the other with a double bunk bed. From these bedrooms you see the charming center of Châtel with the characteristic old church. Like a fairytale, especially during wintertime! A few steps descending from the ground floor -at the back of the chalet- you will find a spacious bedroom with 2 comfortable single beds. At this level there is also the bathroom with rain shower. The ground floor consists of a lavatory, a small storage space and a fully equipped kitchen including oven, dishwasher, electric kettle, gourmet and raclette equipment. Kitchen and bathroom have been renovated in 2017. On the front and side of the chalet there is a private terrace where you can enjoy the sun in the summer, the sound of cowbells and the splashing of a small mountain stream. The chalet is centrally located and a 7-minute walk from the village center. Due to its location and the stairs, the house is unsuitable for the disabled.
The chalet has a 2-star classification from the French Ministry of Tourism
